Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer (or mouth cancer) can occur on any part of your mouth including gums, cheeks, throat, lips and tongue.

The figures for mouth cancer are that around 1,800 die each year which is a rate of about 50% - and this is purely due to late detection.

As part of a regular dental screening and oral health check we not only check your teeth and gums, but look for the early warning signs of oral cancer. This is a regular part of your dental health screening that we run each time you come to see us.
